SPECIES: Isopogon fletcheri — Fletcher's Drumsticks

Found in an area in the Blue Mountains National Park in NSW is Fletcher's Drumsticks - a shrub of around 1.5m in height that grows a cluster of flowers with drumstick-like heads. Its habitat is sheltered and moist, such as on cliffs, often within the spray zone of a waterfall. They are a fire tolerant plant, capable of regenerating from the base after fire events. Threats to the species include habitat loss and Phytophthora cinnamomi.
